Show and Tell Friday - Mary's Sandbox

Happy Friday everyone! Today is Show and Tell and I am sharing my daughter's sandbox. We bought a sheep watering tank at a farm supply store and filled it with sand. I made a nylon ladybug cover for it to keep the sand clean when she is not playing in it. It worked out really great and cost half what we would of paid if we had bought one already made. As you can see, she loves it! For more Show and Tell items go to Kelli's blog here.

I know I have told you before sweet Elena that I love your sandbox idea for Mary, and that I hope to have one for Amelie when she is bigger - but you never mentioned the gorgeous, picture-perfect cover!! You are so talented, and I am going to end up humming 'Ladybugs Picnic' all evening now!! Much love to you all for the weekend ahead!

Hi Elena,
This was so adorable, I always enjoy my visits here, the music fitted the video, I don't now about you but i believe Mary is going to be a professional dancer. What a great idea getting the watering trough. You did a great job on fixing her ladybug cover. I also see that your garden is flourishing too!! Thank you for sharing. Thank you for stopping by and visiting with me.

I love the sandbox cover. What a great idea. Mary's little curls remind me of my girls when they were little.
My mother used to sing the playmate song to us when we were little. I hadn't heard it in years. Thanks for sharing that wonderful post.
