Happy Birthday My Sweet Mary Girl

Monday marks your 7th birthday.  You have grown so very quickly.  You are reading really well and learning to add.  You also are learning to read music and hopefully this year we can give you piano lessons.  You still enjoy ballet, this is your 4th year!  You still love to draw and make up wonderful adventures.  You imagination seems to know no bounds.  You laugh easily and love to kid around.  I know you are going to be quite the social bug and loving to talk to people and get them to smile.  I am also so very thankful to see you grow in your knowledge of your Savior Jesus Christ.  You love to read Bible stories to me in our homeschool lessons and tell me often that you love Jesus and love Daddy and I.  You are such a blessing to us and we thank the Lord every day for the precious gift that he gave us when you were born.  We are raising you the best we can and humbly leading you into the truth of the kingdom of God.  What a special little girl you are and we are so excited to be celebrating another wonderful year with you.

New World Vision Child

We would like you to meet our new World Vision child, Fernando.  He is 5 years old and is from Bolivia.  He comes from a family of 7 children and his dad is a farmer.  We had a boy named Marcos for 11 years.  He turned 16 and is out of school.  So they wanted to know if we wanted to help Fernando and we said, "Yes!"  His dad has already written us a letter.  Yesterday Mary wrote him a letter with some pictures she drew.  She is so excited to write a letter to him.  She is at just the perfect age to enjoy sponsoring a child and know that we are helping him get a education too!  If you are interested in sponsoring a child you can go to Fernando's picture in the side bar and click on it and it will take you to the World Vision web page.
