This post is all about our dog Mac. He had to go to the vet this last week and we had him neutered and two of his puppy fangs removed because they did not fall out when his permanent teeth came in. He was pretty groggy the first day but he is doing good now. He is eating, drinking and running around. We do have some pain pills for him which make him pretty sleepy. He really wants to get at his stitches now as his incision heals. So he has to endure the cone of shame (You will have to of seen the Disney Movie, "UP" to get the humor of that). He will have to have his cone until Thursday, then he will have his stitches taken out. So we have been babying him just a little bit. :) He is such a good boy and good sport about it. Here he is sleeping on the recliner with Rich.
Here is a photo of him that I took him a couple of weeks ago. He was sitting in the middle of the kitchen floor watching Rich fix a big pan of ribs. He didn't move a muscle. I just called his name and he turned his little head and I snapped his picture.
Mac also loves his basket of toys. He loves to dig through them and get the toys out that he wants to play with. Just like a kid, he drags his toys all over the living room floor. I pick them up and he goes back and gets them out again. So funny. We have a lot of fun watching him. Mary loves him so much too. I have also included a little video of her.

So adorable! Happy New Year to you!
Our cat, Patches, is the same way with toys as Mac. She brings us toys when she wants playtime.
Poor little puppy the cone makes him look so sad. I did see he got the stitches out so maybe it will be a great weekend for all of you.
