Foody Friday Teriyaki Chicken

The theme for Foody Friday is "Simple". To see more simple recipes go to A Latte Talk and check it out. The recipe I am going to share comes from the time I was pregnant with my daughter and did not have a lot of energy to cook but wanted something yummy. So I made this up. Now we have it once a week and haven't gotten tired of it yet. All the ingredients you can get at your local grocery store :)

Teriyaki Chicken

4 Chicken thighs
1 can of fruit cocktail
3/4 cup Yoshida's Marinade and Cooking Sauce (you can get it at your store where all the marinade sauces are)
1 tsp fresh ground ginger (you can get this in a jar where the minced garlic is. Usually in the produce department)

Put the fruit cocktail, Yoshida's Sauce and ginger in a blender and blend it up until a smooth sauce it formed. Put the chicken in the bottom of a crock pot and pour the sauce over the top. It does not need to cover it completely. Put it on medium heat and let it cook for 3 hours. You can serve it over rice.

We had it for dinner last night. So, I took a picture of it so you can see what it looks like.
